If you are planning to purchase any item requiring “Special Handling” (see classifications below) and are unsure of the applicable special handling requirements, or of how you may meet them then please contact your Supervisor, Faculty Safety Officer or OHS & Injury Management for advice.

Please take into account the entire life cycle of the item that you intend to purchase.
