Corporate Finance (Research) (CFR)

CFR provides financial leadership and direction to the senior managers and team leaders within Research Portfolio and across the Research Community, ensuring that the University’s financial and accounting policies and procedures are relevant, and are reviewed for best practice.

CFR is also responsible for the financial management of the DVC (Research)’s portfolio. This encompasses:-

• Research income component of the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) to DEST
• Receipt and allocation of ARC and NH&MRC grants
• Annual returns to the ARC and NH&MRC
• Budgeting, reporting and forecasting of the Research Portfolio:-
• the distribution of DVC (Research) funding for schemes and special funding including:-

	Scholarships
	International Fellowships
the opening of new research accounts:-
