Asset Management Systems

The University currently uses two asset systems.
The first one is the Archibus Leased Asset system used to maintain leased assets such as computers and equipment.
The second one is the PeopleSoft Asset Management system (PS AM 8.9) used to record life cycle activities for assets acquired outright (i.e. University-owned assets). The common activities include receipting, disposals, transfers and an update of physical information like the serial number, model, custodian, tag number, location and a description of the item.
Please note that PS AM 8.9 is being rolled out to Departments gradually and replaces the Archibus Owned Assets System.
